Neymar: Emery will bring good things to Arsenal

Brazilian superstar Neymar has labelled Arsenal boss Unai Emery a great coach and reckons it is no surprise that his Gunners reign has got off to such a good start.

Spainish coach Emery’s start to life in the Premier League was a difficult one; losing his first two games to Man City and Chelsea, although his team have embarked on an impressive 16 game unbeaten run in all competitions since.

Emery coached Neymar last season at PSG after the Brazil international’s world record move from Barcelona.

Although, it was widely reported at the time that the pair did not always see eye to eye, Neymar has revealed that he enjoyed working with Emery and priased his work ethic.

“Now it’s easy to say because Arsenal are playing really great football,” Neymar told the press ahead of Brazil’s international fixture against Uruguay at the Emirates tonight.

“They are coming from a great run in recent matches and everybody knows he’s a really great coach,”

“We know about their quality and I was really happy to work with him because he’s a really hard working guy. He really wanted to coach us and really wanted to study about football.

“I think he will bring good things for Arsenal, which is a really huge and important club here in England. I wish him luck.”
