Gary Neville believes Liverpool are playing ‘title-winning football’ following the club’s ‘scintillating’ performances so far this season.
The Premier League leaders came from behind to restore their six-point advantage over Manchester City at the top, captain Jordan Henderson’s first goal of the season and a Mohamed Salah penalty securing three points following Harry Kane’s opener after just 47 seconds.
Despite Tottenham taking an early lead on Merseyside, former Manchester United full-back Gary Neville believes there only looked like one winner throughout the contest, and believes Liverpool‘s relentless style could see them win an elusive Premier League title.
“There is a complete trust in this crowd, they are brilliant to watch and they are scintillating,” Neville told Sky Sports.
“I agree with Jamie (Carragher) that there was only one winner at half-time and I thought that at 20 minutes to go.
“They have played title-winning football now for two years. You can’t compare them to Man City. They are a completely different team.
“They are relentless and they should win a title playing the football and amassing the points they have.”
