Manuel Neuer has discussed how Bayern Munich are planning to stop Liverpool’s dangerous front three of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.
Bayern Munich travel to Merseyside this week to face Liverpool in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 tie, with both sides going into the game in second place in their respective leagues.
Liverpool have been heavily reliant on their attacking triumvirate of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino, who have scored 38 of the Reds 59 goals in the Premier League this season.
Speaking ahead of Tuesday nights game at Anfield, Bayern Munich ‘keeper Manuel Neuer has revealed how his side are planning on stopping Jurgen Klopp’s side.
“They have very good, fast breaks and aggressive counter-attacks but we know that. We saw how they play against teams,” Neuer told ESPN FC.
“We have to stay compact and have a good plan, then we will have good protection for our defence.
“I will be watching the way the strikers move and shoot with the analysts [in preparation].”
