Jose Mourinho has called Manchester City disrespectful in the wake of their Amazon documentary which premiered earlier this week.
Amazon Prime followed Manchester City around last season in what turned out to be a record-breaking season as they amassed a 100 points, and finished an incredible 19 points ahead of second-placed United.
During the documentary, Kevin De Bruyne was filmed slating the Manchester United manager, criticising him for his management during their spell at Chelsea together. Pep Guardiola was also seen slating United’s ‘park the bus’ style of football after beating them in the Manchester derby.
However, speaking to Sky Sports, Jose Mourinho has said that the programme was disrespectful and that Manchester City lacked class:
“You can have a fantastic movie while respecting others. You don’t need to be disrespectful to have a fantastic movie.
“You can be a rich club and buy the best players in the world but you cannot buy class and they showed that clearly, that was really obvious.”
