Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has revealed that his arch-nemesis Paul Pogba will play tomorrow against West Ham.
This is despite the Portuguese coach suggesting that the reason he controversially stripped the £89 million midfielder of the Manchester United vice captaincy earlier this week was due to the fact the France international seems to think he is bigger than the Old Trafford club.
“He’s a player like the others,” said Mourinho in his pre-match press conference.
“No player is bigger than the club and if I’m happy with his work, he plays, if I’m not happy he doesn’t play.
“I’m happy with his work this week, really happy, Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday especially, because today was not so significant but he trained really well.
“The team needs good players, players with the personality to play – he has that and he plays tomorrow.”
