Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho seems unconcerned by reports linking his star midfielder Paul Pogba to his sides bitter rivals Manchester City.
In the build up to last weekend’s Manchester Derby derby at the Etihad, the headlines were dominated by claims by Man City manager Pep Guardiola that he had been offered the chance to sign United’s £89 million pound in January by agent Mino Raiola.
Pogba would of course put in a man of the match performance as the Red Devil’s came back from 2-0 down to win 3-2 on Saturday, and deny the Cityzens the chance to seal the Premier League title in front of their own fans.
After the game the France midfielder and Gaurdiola embraced each other and shared some words, but United manager Mourinho revealed he is not worried about the reports linking his club’s record signing with a move across Manchester.
“It is normal that sometimes they come with a little touch on each other but I was not worried about it, I was not upset with it and I didn’t speak with Paul about it.” Mourinho said.
“I didn’t call Mino to ask him anything at all, I was just focused on the game and I think Paul was the same because the way he played was only possible if he was focused on the game.”
