Jose Mourinho has confirmed that he is missing just two players as he prepares his team for this weekend’s visit of newly promoted Wolves.
It has been a strange few weeks for Manchester United and Mourinho, who, having lost two of their opening three games of the season and being tipped for the sack, have bounced back to win their last three games.
They comfortably beat Swiss side Young Boys on Wednesday, and host Wolves at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon, with Jose Mourinho confirming that only Marcos Rojo and Ander Herrera are the only absentees through injury.
“There are small things but nothing important,” Mourinho told MUTV.
“At this moment, Marcos Rojo is not training with the team, but Herrera is in the final phase of his recovery.
“Apart from them [and the suspended players], everyone is ready.”
Marcus Rashford and Nemanja Matic will also miss the game through suspension after they were both sent off in each of United’s last two league games.
