Juventus and Villarreal are the latest teams to join the race to sign Antony from Manchester United.

The Brazilian has shone since leaving Manchester United on loan in January, impressing for Spanish side Real Betis.

He has eight goals and five assists in all competitions since his mid-season move and has helped Betis to the Europa Conference League final. Antony scored in both legs of the semi-final win over Fiorentina, with Betis set to take on Chelsea for the trophy later this month.

His renaissance follows a tough time at Manchester United. The 25-year-old failed to live up to expectations following a high-profile move from Ajax but has rediscovered his form and confidence in Spain.

Juventus and Villarreal are the latest teams to express interest in Antony, with Football Espana reporting the duo have joined Atletico Madrid and Betis in pursuing a permanent deal.

Manchester United have placed an asking price of around £40m on the winger, who has four goals in his last six games for Betis.

Antony could make unique piece of European history

With Manchester United and Real Betis both into European finals, Antony could make a unique piece of history this season. The winger represented the Red Devils in the Europa League, before joining Betis on loan in January and aiding their Conference League pursuit.

If both teams win their respective finals, Antony will become the first ever player to win two European competitions in the same season.
