Manchester United have had a busy summer, bringing in four summer signings including smashing the World Record transfer fee with an £89million move for Paul Pogba.
Mourinho has stated that he was only ever in the market for four players this summer, which the Portuguese has managed to secure the signatures of Eric Bailly, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba.
However, reports that suggest Manchester United’s summer business is my yet over, although United chiefs will not sanction a move for any players until the club sell players first.
Mourinho has stated that he will only work with a squad of 23 players outfield players this season, a number which he already has in excess of. Bastian Schweinsteiger will be the most high profile departure of the summer, whilst Adnan Januzaj and Andreas Pereira are expected to leave on loan.
But it is members of United’s current first team squad that will need to depart before Jose will be allowed to sign more players with Juan Mata, Marcos Rojo and Marouane Fellaini the most likely candidates to leave
Rumours are on the rise again that Everton are set to up their interest in Juan Mata again after being heavily linked earlier in the summer.
United are still interested in making moves for Leonardo Bonnuci and Raphael Varane, and have also been linked with making a move for Belgian starlet Youri Tielemens.
