Alvaro Morata could complete his move to Manchester United within a matter of hours it has been claimed in Spain.
Marca claim that Real Madrid and Manchester United are now just €5m apart in their valuations of the Spanish international, after both sides compromised.
Real Madrid have dropped their asking price from €90m to €80m, while Manchester United have upped their offer to €75m.
The report claims that the sides are now so close in the negotiations ‘could be completed within the coming hours’.
Jose Mourinho is keen to have as many of his new signings with the squad before they travel to Los Angeles for their pre-season training camp on Sunday, and with these developments, it seems like Morata has a realistic chance of boarding that plane with his new team mates.
He has already agreed personal terms with United and has his heart set on a move to Old Trafford and a reunion with Jose Mourinho, the man who gave him his Real Madrid debut.
