Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata has described his new Blues team-mates Mateo Kovacic as one of the best midfielders in the World.
Croatia international Kovacic moved to Stamford Bridge on a season long loan from Real Madrid on transfer deadline day, after the 24-year-old struggled for regular game time at the Bernabeu in recent seasons.
Chelsea frontman Morata has already been describing what an amazing player his former Los Blancos team-mate is, and also revealed that he has been helping him settle into life in West London:
“Yes, he gave me a lot of assists in Madrid,” he told Chelsea’s official website.
“We enjoy playing together and I’m very happy to have him here. I think he’s one of the best midfielders in the world.
“I always try to help the new signings settle in, I remember when I first came here my team-mates helped me, and now it’s time for me to do the same.”
