Moore: West Brom players in ‘vibrant’ mood ahead of Ipswich clash

West Brom boss Darren Moore has insisted that his players are right up for the challenge, as his side face Ipswich Town this evening at Portman Road.

The Baggies have started the season in fine form and find themselves in fifth place in the Championship table.

Ahead of their clash against an Ipswich Town side, who have won just once all season, Moore believes they are in the right mood ahead of the test.

“The players’ voices have been good this week,” Moore told wba.co.uk.

“They’ve been vibrant.

“It was a good performance in the last game but it’s one not to rest on.

“We’ve got another important game and we’re looking to continue the form that we’ve shown.

“When you’ve got near to a full-strength squad it helps to implement ideas.

“You’re able to build shapes, formations, understanding.

“Having a clear week helps create dynamics to the play you want to take into the coming period.”

However, they may be up against a rejuvenated Ipswich Town side, who have just appointed Paul Lambert as their manager, following the sacking of Paul Hurst just a few months into the job.

The Midlands outfit travel to Portman Road this evening for a 7:45pm kick off.
