Anthony Martial has called on Manchester United to ‘find a solution’ as they prepare to travel to face Wolves on Monday night.
Wolverhampton Wanderers were unbeaten in three fixtures against Manchester United last season, winning twice at Molyneux including a 2-1 win in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side travel to the Midlands to face Wolves again tonight, and Martial has revealed his side are anticipating another difficult Premier League encounter.
The French forward has praised Wolves and says United must ‘find a solution’ as they bid to end their poor record against Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, as United look to build on their impressive 4-0 opening day win over Chelsea last weekend.
“I think that, as a team, they fought really hard and were always in your face,” Martial told the Manchester United app.
“As soon as you got the ball at your feet, they were always at you, trying to win the ball back again. There were always one or two players on you, jostling you for the ball.
“I think that style worked for them in those two games, but now it’s down to us to find a solution so we can avoid the same kind of performance as last year.”
