Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has described Manchester United as one the best teams in the world, as attentions turn to this weekends crunch game.
Liverpool cruised through to the Champions League quarter finals on Tuesday night thanks to the 5-0 advantage gained during the first leg, leading all their focus now to be solely on the crucial top of the table clash against United on Saturday.
Liverpool go in to the game two points behind their bitter rivals, knowing that a win will send them second with just eight games remaining and Sadio Mane has said it will be a game between two of the world’s biggest clubs.
The winger, who started for Liverpool against Porto, said:
“It will not be easy but I’ve always said we can beat any team in the world.
“Honestly they (Manchester United) are one of the best teams in England, of course in the world also, but we are as well.
“It’s the dream for every single player to play this kind of game so everyone is looking forward to it.”
