Manchester United youngster Tim Fosu-Mensah is having a medical at Crystal Palace.
Various media outlets are reporting the Dutch defender will have a medical with the South London club today before completing a season long loan move.
The defender has had a promising start to his Manchester United career, and was given his debut by Louis van Gaal during the 2015/16 campaign.
During his first season in the senior team, he played in a variety of positions, including at left back, right back, centre back and in central midfield. More recently under Jose Mourinho, he has been utilised more consistently as a right back, recently impressing on the clubs preseason tour of the USA.
Watford were also believed to have been interested in signing the youngster, but Fosu-Mensah’s links to new Palace manager Frank de Boer seems to have been decisive. The defender worked with de Boer during his time at Ajax.
The 19-year-old has made 21 appearances for Manchester United’s first team.
Meanwhile, Manchester United left-back Cameron Borthwick-Jackson has joined Leeds United on a season long loan deal.
