Manchester United have been surprisingly linked with a move for former Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho.
However, he hasn’t made a massive impact over in Spain. Despite, scoring just 15 goals in his 45 appearances for the Blaugrana, the Brazil international has only started 9 games in La Liga this season, and has been linked with a move away from the Catalan club.
A number of Europes biggest clubs, including Liverpool, Man City, Chelsea and PSG are keeping an eye on his situation although according to Caught Offside, Manchester United have ‘opened talks’ with Barcelona regarding a potential move for the Brazilian.
Whether Coutinho would be remotely interested in moving to Old Trafford is yet to be seen, a move which should it happen would destroy his good relationship with the Anfield faithful.
