Manchester United star signs contract extension

Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo has signed a new contract that will see him extend his stay at Old Trafford until 2021.

The Argentina international signed for United from Sporting Lisbon in 2014, after impressing at the World Cup in Brazil.

Rojo can play as a left-back of centre halve and is highly rated by United boss Jose Mourinho.

He has enjoyed plenty of success since moving to England winning the FA Cup, EFL Cup and Europa League.

Despite currently being unavailable due to injury, the 27-year-old has revealed that he is delighted to have signed a new deal, and hopes to add more silverware to his collection over the coming seasons.

“Since I joined Manchester United, it has been everything I thought it would be and more,”

“I am extremely happy to extend my stay at this great club.

“When I joined, my aim was to help the team win trophies and we have done that over the past couple of seasons.”
