Manchester United ready to reject all Fernandes bids

Manchester United will reject any offers for captain Bruno Fernandes this summer, amid interest from Galatasaray.

Manchester United will reject any offers for captain Bruno Fernandes this summer, amid interest from Galatasaray.

The Turkish champions had been prepared to pay around €50m (£42.7m) for Fernandes, whose contract at Manchester United expires in 2027. Galatasaray had also offered a lucrative contract that would have significantly increased the midfielder’s salary.

Juventus and AC Milan have also monitored Fernandes’ situation, but United will reject all approaches. The BBC are reporting that the Red Devils view the 31-year-old as an irreplaceable part of their project under Michael Carrick.

United are keen to agree a new deal with Fernandes, though do hold an option to extend his present contract until 2028.

The Portugal international was named FWA Footballer of the Year and Premier League Player of the Season in 2025/26, after setting a Premier League record of 21 assists in a single season. He’s also the favourite to be named PFA Player of the Year later this month.
