Manchester United ‘exploring’ Newcastle transfer deal for Lewis Hall
According to Sky Sports News, United are “exploring a potential move” for Hall to understand how much it might cost to sign him from Newcastle.
The club are assessing the options available to them on the transfer market as they look to sign a long-term successor to Luke Shaw at left-back. The England international has one year left on his contract at Old Trafford.
The report adds that United are mulling over which positions they need to “prioritise” before the end of the transfer window, including a third midfielder and an additional forward.
Following the departure of Tyrell Malacia on a free transfer, Shaw is the only senior left-back in the squad heading into the new campaign.
