Adrien Rabiot is not interested in a move to the Saudi Pro League or Turkish Süper Lig as the Premier League-linked free agent searches for a new club.
Rabiot is a free agent after leaving Juventus at the end of last season but has so far reached terms on his next move. AC Milan were interested in the France international during the summer transfer window, though a deal failed to materialise.
The 29-year-old is understood to be keen on a transfer to the Premier League and has spoken openly on his desire to test himself in English football.
Manchester United and Newcastle linked with free agent Rabiot
Rabiot came close to joining Manchester United in 2022 and the Red Devils have again been linked, amid doubts over the future of Casemiro at Old Trafford.
A number of other English sides, including Newcastle United, have also been named as suitors and each have been handed a boost by Rabiot’s stance on a Saudi switch.
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Rabiot is uninterested in moving to the Middle East, while approaches from Turkey will also be turned down.
Rabiot made 212 appearances for Juventus after joining the Italian side on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain in 2019.
He has won six league titles across spells in France and Italy, while he formed part of the France team that reached the 2022 World Cup final in Qatar. The midfielder has won 48 caps for Les Bleus at senior level, scoring four times.
