Manchester United are tracking Lyon striker Moussa Dembele ahead of a potential summer move.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to add to his forward options in the summer transfer window, and has been monitoring the progress of the 22-year-old.
The former Fulham and Celtic forward has enjoyed a hugely impressive season for the Ligue 1 club, scoring 19 goals in all competitions.
According to the Mirror the Frenchman’s form has attracted the interest of United, who are keen to secure competition for the likes of Marcus Rashford and Romelu Lukaku.
United’s scouts are said to have been impressed by Dembele’s progress, with the youngster having adjusted well to the step-up to one of Europe’s major leagues.
Dembele has been with Lyon since August 2018, having signed from Celtic for a fee worth a reported £19.7m.
The forward had enjoyed a prolific spell in Scottish football after arriving from Fulham, scoring 51 goals in 94 appearances for the club, and won back-to-back domestic trebles with the Glasgow side.
