Manchester United are edging closer to their third big money signing of the summer according to reports today.
Sky Sports claim that United’s proposed deal for Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic is ‘progressing’ with the two clubs edging closer to reaching an agreement.
Inter Milan have been asking for a fee of around £48m for the wingers services, but it is thought that a deal could be completed for around £45m.
The Croatian is believed to be keen on a move to Old Trafford, and has told his current club of his desire to move to the Premier League.
His arrival would add some much needed creativity to the Manchester United ranks, having scored 11 and provided eight assists last season in 36 games. He also provided 110 more crosses last season than the combined efforts of Manchester United trio of Jesse Lingard, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Anthony Martial, a trait Jose Mourinho will be keen to continue with the addition of £75m man Romelu Lukaku.
United want to get the deal done before Inter Milan fly out to China for their pre-season tour next week. Manchester United are currently in Los Angeles on their own or tour where they will face the likes of Man City, Real Madrid, and Barcelona.
