De Gea asks agent to push through Juventus move

David De Gea has reportedly told his agent to secure a move from Manchester United to Juventus.

The goalkeeper is in the final year of his contract at Old Trafford, although the club do have an option to extend it by a further 12 months, and has indicated he is ready to leave after eight seasons at the club.

The Spaniard is represented by super-agent Jorge Mendes, and the Portuguese is believed to be keen to take both De Gea, and his fellow client James Rodriguez, to Turin in the summer window.

De Gea has been at Manchester United since arriving from Atletico Madrid in 2011 and talkSPORT are reporting he now wants out of Old Trafford having grown disillusioned with the clubs inability to compete for major honours.

Legendary Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon left the club for PSG in the summer after almost two decades at the Italian club and although Wojciech Szczesny has proven an able replacement, Juventus are believed to be interested in signing De Gea, often regarded as the world’s best, to Serie A.
