Manchester United have offered a deal to Paris Saint-Germain contract-rebel Adrien Rabiot.
The French international will leave the club at the expiry of his contract this summer, having not played for the Ligue 1 side since December after refusing to sign a new deal.
The 24-year-old has been linked with a free transfer to several of Europe’s leading sides, with Manchester United reportedly having offered the midfielder a contract.
According to Le10 Sport, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will offer a deal worth in the region €10m-per-season for Rabiot, as they look to add to their midfield options.
Solskjaer is desperate to strengthen his midfield having seen Ander Herrera depart on a free transfer, whilst there are doubts surrounding the long-term future of Paul Pogba.
United are likely to face competition for Rabiot’s signature, with the likes of Tottenham and Juventus having been linked with the player.
According to the Mail, United’s biggest competition may come from arch-rivals Liverpool, with Rabiot reportedly keen on joining Jurgen Klopp’s Champions League winners.
