Manchester United are close to signing Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan according to reports in Italy.
Il Tempo claim that Manchester United have offered the midfielder £130,000-a-week to swap the Italian capital for Manchester.
Mourinho has tasked Chief Executuve Ed Woodward to strengthen his squad, with a midfielder high on the shopping list. They have been linked with a move for Monaco’s Fabinho as well as Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic.
Nainggolan was a transfer target for Chelsea last summer, but opted against a move to the Premier League and to stay with the Giallorossi.
Mourinho wants to add a defensive minded midfielder to release the defensive shackles from world record signing Paul Pogba.
The midfielder himself has sent Manchester United fans into overdrive with a cryptic message on social media site, Instagram, with the quote, “thinking about what to do”
