Manchester United are close to agreeing a deal for their second signing of the summer according to reports.
The Manchester Evening News claim that Jose Mourinho is close to to agreeing a deal to sign Monaco central midfielder Fabinho.
The Brazilian could become Manchester United’s second signing of the summer, after they announced on Saturday that they had reached a deal with Benfica to sign Swedish defender Victor Lindelof.
Fabinho, who can play as both a central defensive midfielder as well as a right-back, has been linked with a move to several Premier League and European clubs, but is apparently close to completing a deal to move to the Premier League.
The potential signing of Fabinho could quickly be followed up with the signing of Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata. Manchester United have apparently lodged a £60m offer for the Spanish striker after seeing their opening offer of £52m rejected.
