Five defining pictures from Manchester United’s 1-0 win over Leicester

Manchester United moved up to fifth in the Premier League table with a 1-0 win over Leicester City at the King Power Stadium earlier today.

With the old saying that ‘a picture says a thousand words,’ in mind, we’ve picked out five of the defining pictures from today’s game.

After missing a glorious early chance against Burnley in midweek, Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford again failed to hit the target from close range when he nodded a chance over the bar with the goal gaping.

However, the 21-year-old made amends in the ninth minute, with a truly world-class finish from a wonderful Paul Pogba pass.

James Maddison was again in impressive form and looked to be the Foxes best hope of getting back into the game, but Claude Puel decided to take the former Norwich man off around the hour mark, a decision that seemed to stifle the home sides creativity and was widely booed by the Leicester faithful.

Leicester huffed and puffed in search of an equaliser, having 17 shots on United’s goal, although David De Gea was equal to everything that came his way.
