Premier League rivals Manchester United and Arsenal could be set to once again swap players in the January transfer window.
Last January the two clubs were involved in probably the most high profile deal of the winter window when Alexis Sanchez moved to Old Trafford, with Henrikh Mkhitaryan heading in the opposite direction to the Emirates.
Now according to the MEN another swap deal could be on the cards, with Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil and Manchester United centre-back Eric Bailly linked with trading places.
Ivory Coast international is rumoured to be contemplating a move away from Old Trafford after slipping down the pecking order under Jose Mourinho, with the Gunners known to be looking to strengthen their defensive options.
Arsenal assist king Ozil’s relationship with his manager Unai Emery is also rumoured to be strained and the former Germany international played the best football of his career under Mourinho at Real Madrid.
