City lost 4-2 at home to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League on Wednesday, ending an eight-game winning run in all competitions, three days after a 3-0 win at Liverpool. Ipswich, newly promoted and on nine points, beat Fulham 2-1 at home last Saturday after trailing with two minutes of normal time left. Manchester City

City have no injury concerns, and Phil Foden is available after serving a three-game ban for his red card against Manchester United on 13 September. Maresca said he is yet to decide whether Foden starts. Erling Haaland will need rest at some point, Maresca said, but is expected to lead the line. Ayyoub Bouaddi, Iliman Ndiaye and Matheus Nunes, who came on at half-time against PSG, are in contention to start.

Ipswich Town

Ipswich have no reported injury or fitness concerns. Abdul Fatawu is available after a one-match suspension and could return on the right flank. Exequiel Palacios could replace Florentino Luis in midfield, and Christian Walton is in line for a third consecutive league start in goal ahead of Kjell Scherpen.

Manchester City

City have won all six league games, scoring 16 goals and conceding five, and have lost only two of their last 32 league matches. They won 3-0 at Liverpool on 11 October in their first league game since being found guilty of breaching the league’s financial rules, a verdict the club is appealing. They lost 4-2 to PSG on Wednesday after trailing 3-0 inside half an hour, with Haaland scoring twice. Haaland has 10 goals in nine appearances in all competitions.

Ipswich Town

Ipswich have won three and lost three of their six league games, beating Sunderland, Crystal Palace and Fulham. Against Fulham, Abdoul Ouattara equalised and captain Dara O’Shea scored a 92nd-minute winner. They have conceded 12 goals in six league games and have not kept a clean sheet in any of their last 25 Premier League matches.
