Manchester City are ready to make their move for wantaway Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez.
The Sunday Mirror claims that Pep Guardiola is ready to splash the cash on the Chilean, despite him having less than one year remaining on his contract at the Emirates.
Arsene Wenger has been insistent that the 28-year-old will not be allowed to leave the club this summer, and would prefer to see him leave for free next summer rather than sell him now.
However, despite Wenger insistence, Pep Guardiola is ready to test the Gunners’ managers resolve by making a huge offer of around £70m for Sanchez.
It is also claimed that City will offer Sanchez a phenomenal £400,000-a-week which would make him one of the highest paid players in the game.
French big spenders PSG are also interested in signing Sanchez, but he has reportedly told his advisors that he prefers to stay in the Premier League, with Manchester City his first choice destination.
