Manchester City are exploring a deal to re-sign former academy graduate Felix Nmecha from Borussia Dortmund.

Nmecha is a transfer target for several Premier League teams with Manchester United and Chelsea both sending scouts to watch him this season.

The 25-year-old has grown in stature since returning to the Bundesliga from Manchester City in 2021. After two seasons at Wolfsburg, he joined Dortmund and has become a central figure in Niko Kovac’s side.

According to BILD, City have now entered the race for the German international. The Citizens have contacted Nmecha’s new English agency, The Talent Table, to discuss a potential deal.

He previously spent 12 years in the academy at City, alongside older brother Lukas, now of Leeds United. Nmecha made only three senior appearances for The Blues before leaving for Wolfsburg alongside Lukas.
