Manchester City are on the brink of signing Brazilian wonderkid Gabriel Jesus in a £16.7million deal according to reports today.

The 19-year old striker has attracted interest from some of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Liverpool, Manchester United and Bayern Munich.

The youngster is believed to have TWO release clauses in his contract at Brazilian club Palmeiras. One release clause can be triggered at £16.7million by Manchester City, Manchester United, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and PSG, whilst any other club would have to pay £27.8million.

Bayern Munich are still fighting to sign the striker, whilst Manchester United and Liverpool have pulled out of the race, but it is thought that Jesus will move to the Premier League club to play under Pep Guardiola.
