Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has distanced himself from rumours linking him with a move to Manchester United.
The Lazio midfielder’s name has been linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent months, as Jose Mourinho looks to strengthen his midfield ahead of a title challenge next season.
United are set to lose Michael Carrick who is set to retire, while Marouane Fellaini is likely to leave on a free transfer at the end of the season.
However, while Milinkovic-Savic has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League, he has admitted that he is not thinking about a potential transfer.
He told zurnal.rs: “Everyone is telling their own version, but I’m not thinking about my future at all. I was thinking about how to get back on the pitch as soon as possible.
“Now that I have recovered I can concentrate on what is important: my performance and results with Lazio. The current situation makes me realise that I do not have to think about other options. I am concentrating on my current club and our goal of qualifying for the Champions League “
