Manchester United target Justin Kluivert has denied that he has discussed a future transfer to Old Trafford with Jose Mourinho.
The Dutchman, and son of former Ajax and Barcelona star Patrick Kluivert, has been linked with a move to Manchester United for a number of month, with recent reports suggesting a £10m deal is close.
There was speculation following last season’s Europa League final against Ajax that Jose Mourinho promised to take 18-year-old to Old Trafford this coming summer.
However, Kluivert has addressed the speculation, claiming that it is simply not true. He said:
“There will always be rumours, but not all is true.
“I know as little as you guys do.
“I get that question a lot of course, but he did not say anything like that in the last match against United.”
Jose Mourinho has recently said he is happy with his attacking options following the capture of Alexis Sanchez, but he is known to want to sign a new central midfielder with Michael Carrick set to retire and the future of Marouane Fellaini uncertain.
