Manchester United midfield target Fabinho has claimed that a move to Old Trafford is a tempting prospect.
Recent reports have suggested that a deal has been struck between the two clubs with the transfer believed to be edging closer.
That potential deal would be worth in the region of £35m with a further £5m in bonuses.
When asked about the rumours linking him with a move to Manchester United, Fabinho told Esporte Interativo:
“It’s a tempting invitation. I would first talk to my agent, Monaco too, to decide everything right. But it’s a great club, sure enough I would think well about it.”
The 23-year-old was an integral part of the jigsaw for Monaco last season, making 50 on the way to winning the Ligue 1 title and reaching the Champions League semi-finals.
He formed a fantastic partnership with Tiemoue Bakayoko, a player who has also been linked with a move to United, but is widely tipped to move to Chelsea. This has also seen Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic linked with a move to Old Trafford, with the Serbian apparently keen on reuniting with former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho.
