Manchester United are struggling to agree a fee with Inter Milan over the potential signing of Ivan Perisic.

Jose Mourinho is believed to be a keen admirer of the Croatian and is interested in signing him this summer.

However according to the Manchester Evening News, the Red Devil’s have come up against a huge stumbling block as the Italians rate the winger at £48m. This is a problem as United only value the 28-year-old  at £30m.

It is thought they have already agreed personal terms with the player himself who fancies challenging himself in the Premier League.

Perisic has scored 16 goals in 56 international appearances for Croatia, and 20 goals in 79 appearances for the Nerazzurri in his two years at the San Siro. Before that he has spent time at Club Brugge, Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg.

United have already been active in the transfer market completing the £31m signing of Victor Lindelof, while also tracking Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.

They have also been linked with Cristiano Ronaldo, Fabinho, Eric Dier and Nemanja Matic.
