Man Utd open transfer talks over £33m Brazilian

Manchester United have opened transfer talks with Ligue 1 club Bordeaux regarding the potential £33m transfer of Brazilian winger, Malcom.

The 20-year-old moved to Bordeaux from Brazilian side Corinthians last year, and had developed into one of the hottest prospects in European football, scoring seven goals in 18 Ligue 1 games so far this season, an impressive return for a winger.

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United have opened transfer talks with the French club, with the hope to sign him next month before sending him back on loan to allow him to continue his development for the rest of the season.

Bordeaux apparently are demanding £50m for the winger, although United are only willing to pay £33m. It is claimed that Bordeaux have a gentlemen’s agreement with the player that he can leave next summer, so United hope that their offer to loan him back will help satisfy their agreements while helping to secure the winger before his stock rises any further.

United are in need to strengthen their right wing, and Jose Mourinho has implored the United board to secure the deal, as he full believes that he can succeed in the Premier League, similar to how Gabriel Jesus has done across the City.
