After years of being linked with wanting to sign Gareth Bale, Manchester United are no longer interested in his signature according to reports today.
The winger has been on United’s radar since back in his days at Tottenham Hotspur, but were left disappointed when he made the world record move to Real Madrid in 2013.
Despite that, the Red Devils – and their various managers – have maintained their interest in signing the Welshman, with even Jose Mourinho publicly declaring his desire to sign him last summer.
However, a series of injuries have restricted him to 19 starts in La Liga and the Champions League combined this season.
Now, according to the Independent, Bale is no longer considered as “untransferable” – a status which he has maintained ever since his arrival at The Bernabeu five years ago.
However, with a departure now seemingly possible, in a cruel twist of fate for the winger, Manchester United are no longer interested in signing him.
They claim that Inter Milan could be about to make a mover sign the winger – a club which Bale announced himself to the world against thanks to scoring two goals against the Nerrazzuri back in 2010
