Bordeaux winger Malcom has been declared not for sale following interest from Manchester United.
The 20-year-old joined the French club in 2016 and has impressed with his pace, skill, and devastating long-range shooting ability.
Malcom has scored seven goals and provided four assists in just 15 appearances this seasons, including some eye-catching strikes from distance that have turned him into something of internet sensation.
The Brazil U21 international is left footed, although he predominantly plays from the right-wing where his pace and trickery allow him to cut inside causing havoc for opposition defences.
However, speaking to French publication L’Equipe, Bordeaux President Stephane Martin ruled out a move in January:
“He will not leave this winter.
“What if we go an immediate loan deal back?
“I don’t seenthaybbeingbin the interests of the club to do that.
“We have not spoken about it and it is not something we are working on.”
United manager Jose Mourinho is eager to add to his attacking options in January and Malcom had been claimed to be available for a relatively cheap £26 million.
