Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have offered Manchester United the chance to sign superstar striker Robert Lewandowski.
The Poland international is said to be looking to engineer a move away from Bavaria this summer, and German publication Bild are reporting that United have been offered his services, albeit for the hefty price tag of £175 million.
Lewandowski made his name with Borussia Dortmund where he plundered 74 goals in 131 games, before moving to Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich in 2014. Since moving to Bavaria, the 29-year-old has netted a ridiculous 106 goals in just 126 games, and won three consecutive league titles.
Lewandowski is undoubtedly one of the best out-and-out number nines in world football, so if United does decide to pursue a deal they will face plenty of competition from Premier League rivals Chelsea and Champions League winners Real Madrid to secure the signature of the hugely talented 29-year-old.
