Borussia Dortmund’s classy midfield operator Julian Weigl has given encouragement to his Premier League suitors that he is ready to move away from the Bundesliga club.

Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City have all scouted the talented Germany international extensively over the last couple of seasons.

The 22-year-old joined Dortmund for £2 million from 1860 Munich in 2015, and has quickly blossomed into one of Europe’s most accomplished defensive midfielders.

The Mirror are reporting today that his choice to move to Germany’s top football agency SportsTotal is a clear indication that Weigl is gearing up for a move away from the Westfalenstadion next summer.

Man United, Arsenal and Man City are all said to be looking for midfield reinforcements, so Dortmund will be hoping they can create a bidding war to extract as big a transfer fee as they can from these three big spending Premier League clubs.
