Man United are reportedly interested in signing Alphonso Davies on a free transfer next summer.

The full-back looks set to leave Bayern Munich in 2025 as talks over a contract extension have completely stalled, with the player’s current deal entering its final ten months.

With both Luke shaw and Tyrell Malacia plagued by injuries, the Red Devils have seemingly spied an opportunity to sign a top left-back for nothing.

Man United have been ‘gathering extensive information’ on the 23-year-old ‘for several days’ as their interest in capturing him as become ‘more concrete’, according to Sky Germany.

The Premier League club have already made an ‘informal enquiry’ with the player’s representatives over a potential transfer in recent months.

Real Madrid were heavily linked with Davies when it became clear his contract negotiations with Bayern hit the skids, but there has been very little reporting on their interest in recent weeks.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City were also linked with the Canada international earlier this year.
