Manchester City are in talks with Juventus over a €50m deal for Portugal right-back Joao Cancelo.
Pep Guardiola is targeting summer additions as he bids to strengthen the Premier League champions, with the club believed to be in talks for Cancelo as they prepare to offload Brazil international Danilo.
According to Goal, City are in negotiations with the Italian champions over a €50m deal for Cancelo, who only joined the Turin side in a €40m deal from Valencia last summer.
The 25-year-old made 25 league appearances as Juve retained their Serie A title for the eighth consecutive season, though is believed to be keen on a move to English football as City prepare to meet his asking price.
Juventus are said to be already making plans for his departure, having expressed an interest in Tottenham’s Kieran Trippier and Napoli full-back Elseid Hysaj.
Cancelo would become City’s first signing of the summer, with Guardiola also interested in adding at least one new midfielder.
