Manchester City were dealt a blow recently when they saw one of their prime transfer targets Alexis Sanchez move to their arch rivals Manchester United, however the Citizens and their coach Pep Guardiola are set to continue to build one of world’s most talented squads, and have today been linked with a sensational £150 million move for Chelsea star Eden Hazard.
According to reports in The Mirror the current Premier League leaders are set to smash the British transfer record by raiding Stamford Bridge for the mercurial Belgium international this summer.
Hazard joined Chelsea from French side Lille in 2012 and has since gone on to blossom into one of Europe’s best attacking midfielders. The 27-year-old has been stalling on signing a a new contract with The Blues, and he has also been heavily linked with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
However, Guardiola has now instructed his club to do everything they can to sign the talented attacker, and feels that his addition could see his Man City side move to another level.
