Manchester City put in yet another superb performance on Saturday in their 3-1 victory over Everton at Goodison Park.
Pep Guardiola’s impressive side now know that a win over local rivals Manchester United at the Etihad next Saturday will see them crowned Premier League Champions.
Speaking after his teams victory City captain Vincent Kompany revealed just how much it would mean to his clubs fan to secure the title against Jose Mourinho men.
‘It would mean the world to our fans. I have lived in Manchester long enough to understand how important it is to them and how important it is to the other team that it doesn’t happen.”
‘It will be lively and hopefully spicy. Man United have seven days to prepare and we must first have a good game (in the Champions League) against Liverpool. We need that momentum and that good feeling.’ Kompany said.
