Manchester City and Liverpool are ready to challenge Barcelona for the signing of Jean Michel Seri according to reports.
The Nice midfielder was close to joining Barcelona last summer after the Catalan club made a €40m move for the 26-year-old. That bid was rejected by the Ligue 1 club, much to the annoyance of the player who was understandably keen on the move to the Nou Camp.
Arsenal were also claimed to be interested in the Ivory Coast international but didn’t launch an official move.
The midfielder has missed a month of the season through injury, but is now back to full fitness and in the squad, and is attracting attention in his services once more.
According to the Daily Mail, Premier League giants Manchester City and Liverpool are now ready to rival Barcelona’s interest in the Nice midfielder, and have both sent scouts to watch the player in recent weeks.
Big spending French side PSG are also interested, but the player himself is claimed to be excited by a move to the Premier League.
