Riyad Mahrez will complete a summer move to Arsenal ‘soon’ according to a French journalist today.

Gilles Favard, a consultant for French publication L’equipe has taken to Social Media today to claim that a deal to take the Algerian is close and will be done ‘soon’

Arsenals interest in last seasons Player of the Year is no secret, and its believed that they have had a £30million bid rejected by Premier League champion Leicester City

Favard initially tweeted to say that Arsenal had made a fresh bid of £35million for the winger after Arsene Wenger made his signing a priority.

Then, just 41 minutes later, he told his followers that a move will happen soon.
