After seeing their opening bid of €13million knocked by by Manchester United, Lyon have improved their offer for Memphis Depay.
The French club made the €13million bid last week but it was knocked back by Jose Mourinho who said that the club will only accept a ‘reasonable offer’ for the player.
However, in developments this evening, French newspaper Le Parisien claim that the Ligue 1 club have upped their bid to €15million.
Manchester United paid around £25million for the Dutch winger just 18-months ago, but he failed to live up to the hype following the move from PSV Eindhoven.
The article claims that despite the improved offer, they believe the English club are holding on for a figure of around €17m.
