Ruben Loftus-Cheek hasn’t ruled out Chelsea finishing in the Premier League’s top four places, saying it’s all to play for.
When Maurizio Sarri first took over at Stamford Bridge, it looked like Chelsea could make an unexpected title challenge as they got their season off to a flyer with a 12 game unbeaten run.
However, since then, things have all gone slightly sour for the Blues, who have seen their title chances evaporate, and they now face a battle to even finish in the top four.
The West London club currently sit in sixth in the table, three points off the Champions League qualification places, but fringe player Ruben Loftus-Cheek is remaining positive as the season enters its final few weeks.
“It’s still all to play for,” Loftus-Cheek told Chelsea TV.
“It’s been up and down for us but we will keep going, keep working hard in training. The points gap is not too big, so we keep going and try to get these wins.”
