Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek spoke of his progressive few days for his club after Chelsea’s 4-0 thumping of Burnley on Sunday.

The England international bagged a hatrick against BATE Borisov in the Europa League in midweek, and netted a fourth in as many days against the Clarets at Turf Moor.

“It’s been a good week. We need to keep it going. I have to be ready to play whenever, I came off the bench unexpectedly.’’ He told the BBC.

The 22-year old has struggled under new manager Maurizio Sarri to get minutes on the pitch, but the Englishman is determined to keep fighting.

“I’ll carry on learning on the training pitch and getting better.” He added.

Chelsea move up to second in the Premier League table after today’s victory.
